What is your least favorite food? Do you dislike it for a reason other than the taste?
I hate HATE HATE mushroom and olives. I cannot stand the smell or the texture of either of them. Of course, I will still buy them and feed them to the kids who love both of them. But I just cannot stand either. I also hate bell peppers. I do not like the taste of them. I also do not want to eat any food that has been cooked with bell peppers, because bell peppers will make everything cooked with them, taste like bell peppers.
If you had to be an animal (but you get to keep your human mind), what would you be?
I am still squee'ing over the marmoset. I think I would really love to be my dog. She has the life. Other than having to occasionally put up with a toddler over loving on her. And licking her head. But other than that, she has the best life. Food when ever she wants it, she doesn't have to clean. She gets to nap 90% of the day, and everyone tells her how cute and adorable she is. What more could I ask for?
And for the record? I want a marmoset too!
Which one of your five senses would you give up if you had to?
Sometimes I think that I would give up my hearing, because, let's be honest, I have 4 kids. A little quiet is blissful at times. But then I think of all the things I would miss hearing. Could never give up my eyesight, because I could never give up reading. Touch, maybe except for the fact that I am clumsy to begin with; I'd be a walking danger to myself. Taste and smell would be just fine with me, because my butt is plenty big enough and if I could not taste or smell the magical goodness of cheesecake then maybe I could do a little to reduce that butt size!
What is your favorite thing about yourself?
My eyes. But I hate my eyebrows.
Aliens land on the planet and they don’t seem friendly. What do you do with yourself and family?
I'm with Anna on this one - out to the middle of no where. I know some good places in the desert that would make some very nice hiding spots
What’s the dumbest thing you’ve done as a dare?
Sorry Charlotte & Celeste, No shots for me! I have always been a "play it safe" kind of person. I can't really come up with the dumbest thing I have done on a dare. Not even during "truth or dare" . And trust me, I have been thinking of an answer for this
Have you had any nicknames as a child or adult? What’s the story behind them?
I was called Cray for a great number of years, because my younger brother gave me that nick name and it stuck. I was also called Barney by my uncle. No rhyme or reason for that one, other than he liked Barney Rubble, and he thought I should have been a boy.
What book or series of books that you read as a child had the most affect on you?
I have always been a voracious reader. I adored the Little House on the Prairie when I was a kid. I also read a series of biographies of historical public figures written for children. I wish I could remember what the series was. But I read all of them. I read all about George Washington, Eleanore Roosevelt, and Marie Currie. Then when I was a little older I loved ((LOVED) Anne McCaffrey's Pern novels. They really helped cement my love of fantasy.
